Eight days in the middle of no where, not in some far off distance land and place, in fact you don't need a passport to visit here. Some people here live without running water, no electricity and dirt floors.  Here in our own country, this life style still exist.

Eight days with people who need love and are wiling to give even more love back.  Eight days to bond with a group I had never met before, but will never forget.  Eight days to experience God's love, grace and mercy as he stretched and molded me to reach out, touch and teach.  What a wonderful eight days.

As we arrived on the BIC Mission property we were welcomed by Pat (our fearless AIM leader),along with Diane and Duane (the pastor & his wife,) who gave us the ins and outs of the BIC mission facility.  This was our first mission trip and we were a little unsure of what to expect, but we knew God had plans for all of us.

Wow, did God have plans for us – the Bible Camp was used to reach out to many children and adults.  In fact our women Bible Study started out with 5 and grew to 17.  Their eagerness to read and study God's Word was inspiring.  The last day was meet with tears, hugs and plees for us to return.

The group I came with out of California joined up with a youth group from Alanta, Georgia.  What a team we made.  We were so bless by these young Christians.  Their love of God and their knowledge of His word.  Their talent's and their desire to be God's hands, arms and feet blessed me and filled my cup to overflow.  I know the others in my group felt the same, I know we came to minister but I believe we were truly bless.

On Friday, which was the free day, this group decided to go into town to share God's love with anyone they came across.  They kept to their word.  We arrived at a park and prayed that God would bring people by and God did.  We shared sandwiches, chips, water, the gospel and some bibles with anyone who wanted to hear.  I was bless to be able to lead a woman to Christ but I should say, God lead a women who after talking and listening was asking and God gave me the words.  What a feeling.

Praise God for these eight day.  Praise God for these people, for the youth group that allowed us to join them, for the one's who work at the mission and for AIM and their leadership for providing this experience.
